Super X-Fi technology uses computational audio to recreate the listening experience of a high-end multi-speaker system in a professional studio, and delivers the same experience in headphones.
HOW IT WORKS
Super X-Fi is computational audio; it uses complex algorithms and computationally intensive techniques to custom fit audio, for every individual, through a sophisticated Head and Ear-Mapping process. For the users, this is done by simply taking three photos of our face and ears with your phone.

The Creative SXFI AIR can play music without relying on a source device. Simply insert a microSD card pre-loaded with your favourite songs into the Creative SXFI AIR and you can enjoy the wonder of the Super X-Fi experience. Use your smartphone to browse the songs on your microSD card via the SXFI AIR Control App.
USB CONNECTIVITY FOR PC AND MAC
This advanced feature lets you enjoy the full glory of up to 7.1 Cinematic games and movies in Super X-Fi on your PC and Mac!
More than that, the same USB functionality is available on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION AUDIO
The Creative SXFI AIR features a NanoBoom microphone that allows you to take calls on your phone and communicate with friends. The microphone is also detachable, and can be replaced with an optional Gaming Mic.

It is also fully replaceable so you can switch them out through a quick-release mechanism for easy ear pad replacement.
EASY TOUCH CONTROLS
Control all playback with a simple touch or swipe! The Creative SXFI AIR features touch controls built into the left earcup. So users can skip a song, turn up the volume, answer a call, and change the caller's voice position.

I fired up one of my favourite Carlos Santana songs, “Africa Bamba” – and was shocked straight away. I’m used to hearing Santana’s guitar at the centre of a virtual soundstage but, through the SXFI Air, it sounded exactly as if he were playing in front of me. It’s a mind-blowing effect, unlike anything I’ve heard before.

During games of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey the SXFI AIR captured not only the incidental details of the world and the booming action noises, but it was also able to accurately convey the nuances of the dialogue without me having to tweak a single pre-set...I also tried the SXFI AIR with Life is Strange 2, Gnog, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider - and it adapted perfectly regardless of what was thrown at it. This is a seriously versatile pair of cans, perfect for gaming … *Included in 'Best Headsets for PS4' list*

Super sound quality.

An amazing product. Great for moviies and music. Great on youtube music videos especially. Tried it on some games and the effect was fantastic. Was also using it on flights and the earcups effectively blocked out almost 50% of the engine noise, and once the sxfi was turned on, the overall effect is as good as the noise canceling earphones I had previously. Will not trade this for another.
