How to pack like a pro for your summer holiday

Do:

Roll up your clothes so that you free up more space in your luggage and minimize wrinkles

Do:

Be reasonable. There’s a voice in your head consistently tries to convince you that you need 6 tops for a weekend beach trip. You don’t...and you know it.

Do:

Recycle your outfits. No one is going to notice if you wear the same top twice! If the thought of this is unbearable, consider spicing up your wardrobe with the versalette (US$118). It’s a convertible travel garment which means you get more value out of every item you pack!

Do:

Plan outfits beforehand. Listen to your gut - don’t pack that one top you never wear because you don’t like the color. You’re still not going to like it when you reach your destination. And don’t pack items that won't match your other clothes.

Don’t

skimp too much. Don’t try to convince yourself you can do without certain things - such as your trusty laptop or headphones. Instead, bring smaller items that will do the job. For example, a tablet can easily replace a laptop, and earphones like the Outlier Sports, which weighs only 15g (about the weight of half a roll of Mentos), can replace your bulky headphones.
