One-of-a-kind AIDS Ribbon MP3 necklace bejeweled with 1,000 Swarovski crystals

Technology or jewelry? That's the question many asked when a custom-designed, Swarovski crystal-adorned MP3 player necklace was auctioned off at Fashion Cares' Bollywood Cowboy Gala on Saturday, June 4th.

"The crystal MP3 player is definitely a fashion statement," says Toronto artist, Debi Kisluk whose company Eclectics ArtWare teamed up with Creative Labs Inc. to transform a Zen Nano Plus MP3 player into a dazzling piece of jewelry to help raise funds for AIDS research.

For those of you inspired enough to turn your Creative product into a fashion "bling", Debi Kisluk also sells Glitz2GoGo DIY kits, which start at $20 and range upward to $400, and come complete with crystals, tweezers and adhesive in a chic pouch.
